When looking for a child seat it is imperative that the seat fits both your child and your car. At Britax, we encourage our customers to try installing the seat directly into their car at the retail site, because not all child seats are compatible with all vehicles. Britax products are designed to provide the optimal fit for your child. A one-size-fits-all approach does not apply to car seats. The safest child seat is one that fits your child properly. That being said we have developed fit guidelines for each of our car seats that include not only a child’s weight and standing height, but a child’s seated shoulder height as well.
